29th Annual East Coast Spiritual Festivity 2025 


With the prayers of H.H. Pope Tawadros II and under the auspices of H.G. Bishop Karas, we are thrilled to announce the 29th Annual  East Coast Spiritual Festivity for High School and College, and the 17th Annual East Coast Spiritual Festivity for Junior High. This  year the Junior High Festivity will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, and the High School and College Festivity will be held  on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Philadelphia. 


The Junior High books for this year are: 


1. My Faith by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II ** 
2. Contemplations on the Sermon on the Mount by His Holiness Pope Shenouda III ** 
3. Heaven: A Coptic Orthodox Christian Perspective by Bishop Youannis (up to and including Chapter 5)   


The High School and College books for this year are: 


1. Introduction to the Books of the New Testament by Fr. Tadros Malaty 
2. A Silent Patriarch: Kyrillos VI (1902-1971): Life and Legacy by Fr. Daniel Fanous (up to and including page 192)

3. God’s Crime Scene by J. Warner Wallace

A church representative from St George Philly will reach out to last year’s contacts for additional information. If you do not know  who your church representative is, please reach out to info@eastcoastspiritualfestivity.org

Each year we ask that you provide the following as part of entry:


• The name and contact information of the primary contact representing your church in this year’s festivity event (Junior  High and High School/College). Please email updated information to: info@eastcoastspiritualfestivity.org
• 2 Judges who are 25 years-old and are servants who preferably have read the books or are able to follow specific  guidelines that we set. 
Entry fee: $30 per participant due on the day of the event. This includes ONE courtesy lunch voucher per participant!

Individual exam fee: $15 per participant due on the day of the event. Cash prizes available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for  individual exam winners.
